
Gladiators Sign Teixeira

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have signed forward Brian Teixeira. He comes to the Gladiators after appearing in with three different Central Hockey League clubs this year.
Teixeira returns to the Gladiators after finishing the 2005-06 season with Gwinnett after being acquired in a trade from the Charlotte Checkers. He finished the season with 11 points in 42 ECHL games last year.
The Fallmouth, Massachusetts native played four seasons at Williams College where he posted 54 points in 95 career collegiate games before turning pro for the 2004-05 season. He played overseas in Germany during his first professional campaign.
Teixeira should be available for the Gladiators for tonight's 7:35 p.m. tilt against the Florida Everblades on the Your Best Rate Financial Home Ice at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
