Stingrays Gameday: Pack The House Night Tonight Against Royals

North Charleston, SC -The South Carolina Stingrays celebrate Pack the House Night tonight against the Reading Royals at 7:05 p.m. at North Charleston Coliseum. Tonight is the fourth of five scheduled meetings between the two teams this season. The Stingrays are currently on a four-game winning streak.

For one night only, the curtains of North Charleston Coliseum will be raised and every seat in the house is only $5! The lower level has completely sold out and less than 1,000 upper level seats remain! There is also FREE PARKING! In addition to Pack the House Night, the Stingrays will host a special ceremony to present the 2009 Kelly Cup Championship rings to the returning Stingrays players from that championship team. Do not miss out on this amazing experience! Also, starting at 4 p.m., stop by the Booster Club Tailgate fundraiser in Parking Lot A where they will be selling plates of food for $5.

The Stingrays wrap up their three-in-three home weekend tomorrow afternoon Sunday, January 24 against the Wheeling Nailers at 4:00 p.m. at North Charleston Coliseum. Come out and celebrate the Dog Days of Winter where fans can bring their dogs to the game. Dog tickets are $5 dollars with all the proceeds going towards Pet Helpers Animal Shelter. Join the Stingrays on Sunday for Kid's Day featuring $5 kid's tickets and a pregame kid's carnival. It is also Adopt-a-Dog Sunday with Camp Bow Wow. Be sure to stop by their table on the main concourse to see the Adoptable Dog of the Night. Stick around after the game for Skate with the Rays with your favorite Stingrays players. Note of the Night: Last night the Stingrays tied an ECHL record with the most players to score a point in a single game. All 15 Stingrays skaters registered at least one point in the 8-5 win over the Reading Royals. The last team to reach that marker was the Birmingham Bulls back on March 21, 1998 against Tallahassee.

Going Streaking Stingrays rookie Trevor Bruess continued his scoring streak last night netting three assists to give him six points (3g, 3a) in his last two games.

Johnson and Johnson Stingrays forwards Keith and Gregg Johnson each recorded three points against the Royals (2g,1a and 1g,2a) and have for combined for 75 points (30g, 45a) this season.
