Jackals Loan All-Star Gratchev To Binghamton

The Elmira Jackals announced Saturday that they have loaned rookie winger Maxime Gratchev to their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

Gratchev is coming off of a two-assist performance at the 2010 ECHL All-Star Game presented by Reebok and brought to you by Toyota and the City of Ontario, a game won by the American Conference 10-9 in a shootout.

The Novosibirsk, Russia native has 34 points (14g-20a) in 30 games with the Jackals this season, while posting five points (2g-3a) with Binghamton in nine games in 2009-2010.

Elmira goes for the weekend sweep of the Toledo Walleye at Lucas County Arena in Toledo, Ohio on Saturday night after taking down the Walleye 7-2 on Friday.

After this weekend, the Jackals return home for a hat trick weekend of hockey, as the Jackals host the Gwinnett Gladiators on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 29 and 30 at 7:35 p.m., and the Walleye on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 4:05 p.m.
