Sixsmith, Gannon To AHL; Dylan Hunter Returns To Lineup

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that forward James Sixsmith has been loaned to the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals and defenseman Jake Gannon has been recalled to the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. In addition, point-a-game forward Dylan Hunter has been activated off of IR and will be in the lineup tonight when Utah hosts Ontario at 7 p.m.

Sixsmith heads back to the AHL ten days after rejoining Utah from the Sound Tigers after 21 games. In three games with Utah during his most recent tour of duty, Sixsmith had three goals and one assist with all points coming on special teams. In total this year, the Virginia native has nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points in 14 games with the Grizzlies. The 25-year-old joins Milwaukee for the third-straight season, having previously logged 41 games there totaling four goals and seven assists.

Gannon, a six-foot-one rookie out of Colorado College; has two goals, four assists and a plus-two with the Grizzlies this season playing in all 38 games.

Hunter has 10 goals and 14 assists for 24 points in 20 games with Utah this year and has also logged 10 games in the AHL with Rochester. Hunter returned from Rochester January 6 in Alaska and collected an assist before sustaining a first period injury and not returning.
