South Carolina Stingrays News Release

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays visit the Cincinnati Cyclones tonight at 7:35 at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tonight is the first of two meetings between the two teams this season.

Note of the Night:

Yesterday, the Stingrays announced the return of top scorer Peter Boyd and forward Scott Campbell from the American Hockey League. Boyd leads the Stingrays with 28 points (11 goals, 17 assists) in 33 games and enters tonight's contest with 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in his last 11 games, but missed the last three contests due to his AHL loan to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Campbell missed the last 16 Stingrays games because of his call-up to the team's AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins. Campbell has 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) in 21 Stingrays games and is tied for the longest goal scoring streak in the ECHL, lighting the lamp seven times in six games from October 20 to November 2.

Heated Rivalry:

The Stingrays hold an all-time record of 4-11-1-1 vs. the Cyclones heading into tonight's contest and are 1-8-1-0 at U.S. Bank Arena.
