
Levi Returns to Blades from AHL Charlotte

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades announced Friday that the Charlotte Checkers, an American Hockey League affiliate of the club, have assigned defenseman Austin Levi to the Blades.
Levi, 21, has four assists and a plus-2 rating in 23 appearances with the Blades. He was called up to the Checkers on December 14, which saw him tally his first professional goal in nine games played.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Levi is a former third-round draft pick of the Carolina Hurricanes, going 85^th overall to the Canes in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
On the ice, the Blades continue their four-game home stand Friday at 7:30pm when they face the in-state rival Orlando Solar Bears at Germain Arena.
Tickets are on sale right now at the Capital Bank Box Office, open Monday-Friday, 10:00am until 6:00pm.
Friday's intrastate throwdown will be broadcast live online at FloridaEverblades.com and on the Everblades' app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, with a video webcast available through America ONE, the official broadband and mobile broadcaster of the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 7:15pm.
