TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (25-6-1-3) host the Colorado Eagles (19-10-4-2) for the first of a two-game home series at Citizens Business Bank Arena. The Eagles are the second closest team in the Western Conference to the Reign with 44 points, 10 fewer than the Reign's league-leading 54 points. This is the teams' third meeting of the season; they will play two more times after tonight at CBBA before a three-game stretch in Colorado to finish the season series.

SERIES LEADERS:

Kyle Kraemer and Matt White lead the Reign against the Eagles with five points each in just two games. Reign alternate captain and second year pro, Mario Lamoureux, led Ontario last season in the inter-conference series with 11 points (3g, 8a). Colorado's Trent Daavatilla ranks second in the league with 40 points (13g, 27a). Kyle Ostrow is second in the league with 17 goals. Michael Hutchinson is the only goalie the Eagles have faced in the series - Ontario has shot against both Marc Cheverie and Adam Brown.

FAMILIAR FACES:

Tonight will mark the first game Chad Costello plays against his former club. Costello was a stand-out with the Eagles and was a big part of their scoring last season as he ranked third on the team in points after playing only half the regular season with the team. In 2011-12, Costello earned the ECHL MVP Award and multiple weekly/monthly recognitions.

CARDIAC KIDS:

Both teams have seen a large portion of their games decided in overtime this year. The Eagles have the third-most overtime deciders with nine games going to overtime or shootout, and the Reign lead the conference and the league with 13 overtime games. Of the 22 games decided in regulation, there have been six, one-goal games. Ontario is 9-0-1-3 in overtime, Colorado is 3-0-4-2 in overtime this season.

STUCK IN THEIR STREAKS:

The Reign were on their third, five-game win streak of the season until they lost to Stockton on Wednesday. The Eagles have had two, four-game win streaks this season and have yet to extend that streak to five games.
