
Stingers' First Walk-Off Win Caps off Sweep of Mud Puppies

Willmar, Minn. - The Stingers walked it off for the first time this season Friday night to secure a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Mud Puppies.
With the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the ninth, Grant Kerry was hit on the left arm to score the game's winning run.
Willmar scored first, with three runs in the fourth on an RBI hit by Tate Meiners, throwing error by catcher Ethan Roe and sacrifice fly by Matthew Enck.
Minnesota then scored the next three runs, and William Sturek tied the game in the seventh with a solo home run.
Sam Malec pitched well to start the game for the Stingers, tossing four innings, allowing no runs, one hit, two walks, and three strikeouts.
Bryce Crabb had another quality start against the Stingers. He threw seven innings, allowing seven hits, two earned runs, two walks and one strikeout.
The Stingers are on the road Saturday and Sunday, as they play the Duluth Huskies for the first time this year. First pitch from Wade Stadium on Saturday is scheduled for 3:05 p.m.
