Willmar Stingers deliver a pitch

Eau Claire, Wis.- In a game that saw plenty of offense the Stingers held on to defeat the Eau Claire Express by a final score of 6-5.
The Stingers offense was sparked by a two-run homer off the bat of Caleb Ricca (Northwestern State) in the third inning.
The game went back and fourth but in a tie ball game in the 8th inning the Stingers took the lead for good when Davis Elliot (Northern Alabama) drilled an RBI single into left putting the Stingers up by one.
Jake Drew (NDSU) got the save for the Stingers while Jayson Newman () got the win.
The Stingers continue their road trip tomorrow in St. Cloud.
