Steelheads set home playoff games for April 14th and 15th

The Idaho Steelheads today announced its 2005-06 ECHL National Conference, West Division first round playoff schedule scenarios and on sale date for home game tickets.

Currently holding the third seed, Idaho will open the best-of-seven series with Games 1 and 2 at either the Alaska Aces (currently 2nd seed - 104 pts) or the Las Vegas Wranglers (currently 1st seed - 106 pts). Games 3 and 4 will be played at Qwest Arena in Boise on Friday, April 14th and Saturday, April 15th with a 7:10 pm puck drop.

If a Game 5 is necessary against the Aces, the series will go back to Alaska for Games 5 and 6, and a Game 7 would be played in Boise. If the opponent is the Wranglers and a Game 5 is necessary, it will be played in Boise, with Games 6 and 7 going back to Las Vegas.

Game 2 - @ Alaska - Tuesday, April 11
GAME 3 - @ IDAHO - FRIDAY, APRIL 14
GAME 4 - @ IDAHO - SATURDAY, APRIL 15
Game 5 - @ Alaska - Monday, April 17 (IF NECESSARY)
Game 6 - @ Alaska - Tuesday, April 18 (IF NECESSARY)
GAME 7 - @ IDAHO - SATURDAY, APRIL 22 (IF NECESSARY)



VS LAS VEGAS WRANGLERS
Game 1 - @ Las Vegas - TBD
Game 2 - @ Las Vegas - TBD
GAME 3 - @ IDAHO - FRIDAY, APRIL 14
GAME 4 - @ IDAHO - SATURDAY, APRIL 15
GAME 5 - @ IDAHO - MONDAY, APRIL 17 (IF NECESSARY)
Game 6 - @ Las Vegas - Tuesday, April 18 (IF NECESSARY)

GAME 7 - @ Las Vegas - Wednesday, April 19 (IF NECESSARY)



Tickets for Friday's and Saturday's home games go on sale on Monday, March 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Qwest Arena Box Office and Select-A-Seat outlets, by calling 331-TIXS (8497). Prices range from $12.50 - $33.50.

Idaho concludes the 2005-06 regular season with five road games, ending in San Diego on April 5th. The games can be heard on ESPN radio KTIK The Ticket with Joe O'Donnell calling all the action or watched through a live B2 Networks Webcast ($6 per view) - schedule and link available from the Steelheads Website.
