Here's a brief update on the State College Baseball Name the Team contest through Wednesday's voting...
Anglers has surged over the past few days, putting it in a virtual dead heat with Spikes and Coalys. Furnace and Haymakers have fallen well behind, setting up a three-name race to the finish.
Just a reminder, that voting will continue through Sunday, July 10th at www.statecollegebaseball.com and in newspaper ballots in the Altoona Mirror and Centre Daily Times.
