Trenton Thunder News Release

(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, Double A affiliate of the New York Yankees, will welcome best-selling author Megan McDonald and

movie stars Jordana Beatty and Parris Mosteller of the film Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer to Waterfront Park for the game on Saturday, May 21 against Portland.

In 2000, the world first met Judy Moody, the amusingly mercurial heroine of Megan McDonald's bestselling book series. Since then, the adventurous tyke has inspired eight additional books and the series has sold a phenomenal 14 million copies in 23 languages. Now Judy is poised to make her big screen debut in Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer.

The film, which opens in theaters across the country on June 10, stars newcomer Jordana Beatty as Judy Moody along with Parris Mosteller ("Worst Week"), Heather Graham (The Hangover), Jaleel White ("Family Matters"), and Preston Bailey ("Dexter"). John Schultz (Aliens in the Attic) directs from a screenplay by Megan McDonald and Kathy Waugh ("Big and Small"). Producers are Sarah Siegel-Magness (Precious) and Gary Magness (Precious).

Megan, Jordana and Parris will throw ceremonial "first pitches" and be available for autographs on the main concourse. There will also be Judy Moody prizes awarded during the game and Judy Moody trailers shown on in-stadium video screen.

The Thunder face the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox) at 7:05pm on May 21. There will be fireworks after the game and a Luggage Tag Giveaway (1st 2,000 fans ages 18+) thanks to Stone Mountain Accessories. Tickets are available at trentonthunder.com.
