Tonight, the SeaWolves look for their third consecutive win as they continue a six-game homestand, beginning a three-game series with division rival Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) at Jerry Uht Park. Yesterday, the 'Wolves battle back from an early deficit en route to a 5-3 win over Bowie to pick up their first series win since the first week of the season. The SeaWolves have won back-to-back games five times in 2011, but have yet to put together a three-game winning streak...Erie sends righty Jacob Turner to the mound making his sixth start and first against the Aeros. Turner took a no-decision in his last outing at Binghamton, allowing three runs on five hits with two strikeouts and a season-high three walks. Turner left the game trailing, but the Erie offense rallied and the 'Wolves won the game 9-3. He is in search of his first win of the season. Erie is 4-1 in games started by Turner...Lefty T.J. McFarland takes the mound for Akron making his fourth start. McFarland began the season with Class-A Kinston before his promotion to Akron. He was 0-1 in two starts in Kinson and had a 2.25 ERA. McFarland took a no-decision in his last start at Altoona. He allowed three runs, two earned, on five hits in 4.2 innings of work with three walks and four strikeouts. Opponents are hitting .264 against McFarland...The 'Wolves are two-games above .500 at home this season...The SeaWolves are hitting .275 over their last 10 games with six home runs and 49 runs scored.
- Akron won the 2010 season series over Erie 14-8.
