Highlights of the schedule include Texas Stars' "Stars & Stripes Military Appreciation Weekend" presented by Sport Clips, which will be held on November 9th & 10th as the team hosts the Toronto Marlies and Lake Erie Monsters respectively. Pink in the Rink Weekend presented by Cedar Park Regional Medical Center falls on January 11th and 12th with games against in-state foes Houston and San Antonio. The Stars will hold another Military Appreciation Weekend on March 22nd and 23rd when Rochester and Charlotte come to town. The Stars full promotional calendar will be released at a later date.

Texas will start the year with some home cooking as they play eleven of their first fifteen games at home, but that will immediately be balanced out by a stretch of eleven of the next fourteen games on the road.

The Stars' longest home stand of the year will be a five-game run spanning from March 1st against the Chicago Wolves to March 13th versus the Abbotsford Heat. They have a pair of six consecutive road games on the calendar; November 25th - December 5th and January 13th - 25th. The Stars longest single road trip of the year is a five-game, ten-day trip through the Midwest from November 26th through December 5th.

The Stars entire 76-game schedule will be against fellow Western Conference opponents. Texas will face their South Division colleagues a total of 44 times, while the remaining 32 games come against the Midwest (18 games) and the North (14 games) Divisions. Their most frequent adversaries this season will be intra-division rivals San Antonio, Houston and Oklahoma City, all of which they will face twelve times each, while they will play Charlotte a total of eight games.

For the Stars home schedule, Saturday is the most recurring day of the week with a total of 15 games, followed by Friday (10 games), Wednesday and Tuesday (4 games), Sunday (3 games) and Thursday (2 games); they do not have any home games scheduled on a Monday.
