March 16, 2007 - ECHL (ECHL)
Stockton Thunder News Release

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, has announced special "St. Patrick's Day" themed third jerseys will be worn by the Thunder for tonight's game and this Sunday's game against the Idaho Steelheads at Stockton Arena, with a "Jersey Off Our Back" auction, presented by Comcast and 104.1 The Hawk, following Sunday's game.

The jersey, which will feature the recognizable "Thor" mascot logo accentuated with a leprechaun hat across the front, will include green-colored thunder bolts adorning the side of a white jersey and green numbers with black lettering on the back.

Fans will be able to take home a player's game-worn jersey in a live auction following Sunday's 4:00 p.m. game in the lower premium section of Stockton Arena. All proceeds of the auction will benefit local-area charities.

Random drawings for select jerseys will also be held during Friday and Sunday's game, open to all fans in attendance at both games.

The Thunder continues its eight-game homestand with a game against the Idaho Steelheads on Friday, March 16, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Stockton Arena. The game can be heard live on the internet (free-of-charge) and is available for viewing at a $6 "pay-per-view" charge at www.stocktonthunder.com (courtesy of B2 Networks).
