Ice Pilots sign rookie collegiate goaltender

PENSACOLA, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots of the ECHL announced today (Friday) that they have signed collegiate rookie goaltender Adam Geragosian (Gher-a-go-zhan).

Geragosian just completed a four-year career at Northeastern University, part of Hockey East. He had a save percentage of .897 and a goals against average of 3.26.

In the 2005-2006 season as a junior, the North Andover, MA native was selected as the Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week. Geragosian will be in the line-up for Friday night's game against the Gwinnett Gladiators.

"It gives us a chance to look at a prospect for next season," said Head Coach Joe Clark.

The Pensacola Ice Pilots return to action tonight when they host the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:05 pm at The Hangar.

It's 'All Faith Night' and there will be a live band performing during the intermissions and at the end of the game. Injured Ice Pilots forward Dallas Steward and Dr. Ted Traylor of Olive Baptist Church will be speaking after the game, as well.
