Madison, WI - The Traverse City Pit Spitters walk off game two of the double header against the Madison Mallards, 5-3. The Pit Spitters record improves to 30-19, and 8-6 in the second half.

The Mallards offense picked back up where they left off in the top of the first inning, as Davis Hamilton walked to lead off the game and Ryan Sprock followed with a single to right field. Owen Jackson singled to center, scoring Hamilton to give the Mallards their first lead of the game 1-0. Jake Goolsby singled to left field, scoring Sprock, extending their first inning lead to 2-0. Jackson Tucker capped off the inning with a sacrifice flyout scoring Isaiah Jackson, to make it 3-0. In the bottom of the fourth, Glenn Miller walked to get the offense started, followed by Colin Summerhill reaching base after a fielding error made by third baseman Ryan Sprock. Evan Orzech then singled to right field, scoring Miller to cut into the Mallards lead 3-1. Nick Argento balked, allowing Summerhill to score to make it 3-2. Owen Jackson hit his ninth home run of the season in the top of the fifth for the Mallards, to extend their lead 4-2. Tyler Minnick led off the bottom of the fifth with a single, followed by Andrew Mannelly hitting a double to left field to put runners on second and third. Jack Crighton singled to center to make it a 4-3 game. Minnick singled to start the bottom of the seventh. Cole Prout came in to run for Minnick. Mannelly singled, to put runners on first and second. Relief pitcher Tyler Avery threw a wild pitch, putting runners on second and third. Alec Atkinson singled to right field scoring Prout and Mannelly to notch their second walk-off win in a week, winning 5-4.

The Pit Spitters improve to 30-19 on the season and 8-6 in the second half, while the Mallards drop to a 24-22 overall record and 8-4 in the second half. Pit Spitters starting pitcher, Holden Wilder threw four and two thirds' innings, giving up three runs on six hits. Anthony Ramirez threw an inning and two thirds, giving up one run on one hit, striking out two. Aaron Forrest came in and got the final two outs of the top of the seventh, striking out one, and earning the win.
