In the 2nd period, the Rangers were on a powerplay and scored the games first goal just over halfway through the period. The Rangers lead 1-0 however trailed in shots 27-25 after 2 periods.
In the 3rd period, the Spitfires in on the offense and rallied a comeback. Just 2:25 into the period Zito was open in the high slot and ripped home his 9th on the season to release the Teddy Bears! After a brief stoppage to the game for clean up. The Spitfires went back on offense and Wyatt Johnston cashed in on his 15th of the season just 31 seconds later.
