Albuquerque Isotopes News Release
Sounds 7 (46-63), Isotopes 3 (45-66) - First Tennessee Park, Nashville, Tenn.
AT THE DISH: Roberto Ramos' three-run homer in the first inning accounted for all of the Isotopes scoring on Friday. The home run was Ramos' 22nd of the year while his 80 RBI for the season are the most of his six-year professional career ... The Isotopes collected four hits on the evening with Ramos picking up two while Sam Hilliard and Pat Valaika recorded the other two hits. Albuquerque did not record a hit in the final five innings of the game ... Elliot Soto went 0-for-3 ending his career-best 16-game hitting streak.
TOEING THE RUBBER: Chris Rusin took the loss, but all six runs he allowed were unearned. Rusin also struck out five batters and walked one in 5.0 innings ... Reliever James Pazos was scored on once in 2.0 innings while Jesus Tinoco tossed a scoreless frame.
TOPES TIDBITS: The loss extended the Isotopes losing streak to eight games ... There was a 39-minute rain delay in the middle of the fifth inning ... Nashville starting pitcher Tim Dillard threw a complete game while throwing 96 pitches. Dillard is the first pitcher to throw a nine-inning complete game against the Isotopes since Fresno's Cy Sneed accomplished the feat on June 21, 2018.
