Round Rock Express News Release
ROUND ROCK, Texas - RS3 Turf, a division of Ryan Sanders Sports & Entertainment, is proud to announce a partnership with Pioneer Athletics and J.R. Simplot Company to distribute the custom line of NR34 Sports Field Materials across the region.
"RS3 Turf is extremely excited to partner with such reputable companies as Pioneer Athletics and Simplot," RS3 Turf Senior Vice President of Turf Operations Garrett Reddehase said. "Both companies are industry leaders in their respective markets. This partnership will allow the NR34 product line to expand to customers throughout the region and still maintain the attractive price point. The sales staff with both companies offer incredible customer service, which is the foundation for both RS3 Turf and the NR34 brand."
Pioneer Athletics is an innovative manufacturer and distributor of high-performing natural and synthetic turf athletic field coatings, field maintenance equipment, sports field accessories and facility branding materials. Pioneer supplies over 22,000 customers across the globe ranging from small towns to big cities and youth leagues to professional sports teams.
"Pioneer Athletics and our Texas sales representatives are very excited to partner with the NR34 line of products in Texas," Pioneer Athletics Sales Representative Justin Kupper said. "Working with a company in Texas, close to home with a vision similar to ours is going to be great. With the local knowledge of RS3 Turf, local Pioneer sales representatives and product close by, we will be able to give our customers a great product with a short turnaround time. We look forward to growing this partnership together and making our customers lives easier with a better looking and playable field."
The J.R. Simplot Company is one of the largest privately held agribusiness companies in the nation. The company pioneers innovations in plant nutrition and processing and researches new ways to sustain ecosystems.
"Simplot's growth into the state of Texas with new warehouses in Houston, San Antonio and the DFW Metroplex lines up perfectly with the launch of new NR34 product line," Reddehase said. "This partnership will only benefit customers throughout our great state."
NR34 sport field products, created in a partnership between RS3 Turf and Texas-based Whittlesey Landscape Supplies, are derived from montmorillonite clay, which produces the highest grade of calcined aggregate products in North America. The NR34 branded products meet some of the tightest and most durable specifications in the industry. In addition, the NR34 brand also offers an industry first "Black Label" line which includes patented technology designed to last longer, reduce dust and water usage, maintain the enriched color and provide better, safer playability - all while using 25% less product than groundskeepers use today.
Bagged products include two types of calcined clay infield conditioner, two types of mound and home plate clay, a calcined clay drying agent and field chalk. The NR34 materials are available in both bag and bulk quantities. Customers have the opportunity to create custom blend infield mixes, warning track and root zones to meet specific criteria. These custom-blended materials can help amend existing infield mixes to meet desired specifications and playability without the cost of removing the material and adding new.
