Oklahoma City - A three-run homer put the Nashville Sounds in the lead in the second inning on the way to a 7-2 win against the Oklahoma City Dodgers Wednesday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

With the win, the Sounds took a 3-0 lead in the four-game series between the teams as the Dodgers committed a season-high five errors in the game.

The Sounds took the game's first lead in the second inning. With two runners on, Jett Bandy smacked a three-run homer out to left-center field for a 3-0 lead.

Nashville extended its lead in the fifth inning when Ronald Guzmán scored on a wild pitch.

The Dodgers (59-69) got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fifth inning. Cameron Perkins led off with a single before Zach McKinstry hit a two-run homer out to center field to cut Nashville's lead to 4-2. The home run was McKinstry's seventh in 16 games with OKC.

Guzmán, who finished the night 4-for-4, connected on a solo homer out to left-center field in the seventh inning to extend Nashville's lead to 5-2.

Nashville (59-68) then scored two more runs in the eighth inning, aided by three Dodgers errors in the inning.

Zach McKinstry went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI to lead the Dodgers as he picked up his eighth multi-hit game with the Dodgers.

Nashville starting pitcher Tim Dillard (8-8) picked up the win, holding OKC to two runs and seven hits over 7.0 innings. He issued two walks and recorded five strikeouts.

Dodgers starting pitcher Logan Bawcom (1-3) was charged with the loss, allowing four runs and seven hits with four walks and two strikeouts.

The Dodgers and Sounds conclude their current series, as well as their season series, at 7:05 p.m. tomorrow on a $2 Thursday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Select beer, bottled water and Pepsi products are available for $2 each.
