
Sound Tigers Recall Belak

BRIDGEPORT, CT â The American Hockey League's 2001-02 Regular Season Champion and Eastern Conference Playoff Champion Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the recall of Left Wing Graham Belak from the East Coast Hockey League's Cincinnati Cyclones.
Belak, 23, began the season in Bridgeport recording 31 penalty minutes in 16 games before being reassigned to the ECHL's Trenton Titans with whom he posted 15 penalty minutes in two games. The 6'5'' 225-pound native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan was then reassigned from Trenton to Cincinnati where he has notched one goal and 75 penalty minutes in 28 games.
The Sound Tigers will begin a stretch of eight games in ten days with three games in three days this weekend visiting the Providence Bruins tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. and the Springfield Falcons Saturday at 7:35 p.m. before hosting the expansion San Antonio Rampage for the first-time ever Sunday at 4:05 p.m. All Sound Tigers' games are broadcast live on "The ZONE" FOX Sports Radio 1300 AM and at www.soundtigers.com. WSTC/WNLK 1400/1350 AM also broadcasts road games.
