Norfolk Admirals News Release
The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned forward Igor Korolev to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.
In 43 games with the Blackhawks this season, Korolev had four goals and three assists for seven points with 26 penalty minutes. In 728 career NHL games, he had 116 goals and 215 assists for 331 points with 304 penalty minutes. In 41 career playoff games, Korolev has eight assists.
Korolev was acquired by the Blackhawks from the Toronto Maple Leafs on June 23, 2001, in exchange for a third round pick in the 2001 entry draft.
