Bulldogs Set Franchise Record for Road Wins

The Hamilton Bulldogs broke another franchise record on Thursday night as they won their 20th road game, defeating the Manitoba Moose by a score of 4-2. The previous record of 19 road wins was set by the 1997-98 Hamilton Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs record stands at 39 wins, 9 losses, 5 ties and 4 overtime losses. Hamilton now has 87 points on the season, which ties them with the mark they set last season.

Scoring goals for the Bulldogs on Thursday night were Tony Salmelainen, Bill Lindsay, Jarret Stoll and Donald Audette. The goals scored by Lindsay and Stoll came while Hamilton was shorthanded.

Manitoba replied with goals from Chris Herperger and Nolan Baumgartner.

In goal Eric Fichaud won his seventh game of the season for the Bulldogs by making 21 saves on the night. Moose goaltender Tyler Moss stopped 28 shots for Manitoba.
