Thrashers Recall Safronov

The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled defenseman KIRILL SAFRONOV from the Chicago Wolves.
Safronov, who has registered four assists in his last five games, ranks second among Wolves blueliners with four goals, 15 assists and 19 points in 44 games.
The native of Leningrad, Russia, who began the season with the Thrashers and was recalled to Atlanta in December, has posted one goal and six penalty minutes in six National Hockey League games this season.
Overall, the 21-year-old Safronov has recorded one goal and eight penalty minutes in nine NHL games spanning the last two seasons with the Phoenix Coyotes and the Thrashers.
