Norfolk Admirals News Release

ROANOKE, VA – The Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League announced today that forward Jason Jaffray has been reassigned to the Roanoke Express. Jaffray, who was called up to the Express' AHL affiliate on January 23 following his appearance in the 2003 Compuware ECHL All-Star Game, played in two games with the Admirals, scoring no points and amassing no penalty minutes.

The 21-year-old Olds, Alberta native will be in uniform for Roanoke's next game, Friday night at Atlantic City. Jaffray returns to the ECHL ranked seventh in overall scoring with 66 points (29 goals, 37 assists), and leading all rookies in points, goals and assists.

The move by Norfolk was made because the Chicago Blackhawks returned forwards Igor Koralev and Ryan VandenBussche to the Admirals yesterday.
