Sound Tigers Loan Jackson to Gwinnett

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (April 9, 2013) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced they have loaned defenseman Dallas Jackson to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL.

Jackson, 24, appeared in 21 games with the Sound Tigers this season, recording three assists and 10 penalty minutes. The Edson, AB native joined the Sound Tigers on a professional tryout contract on Dec. 29, and signed an AHL contract with the Sound Tigers on Feb. 27.

Prior to joining the Sound Tigers, Jackson skated in 31 games with Gwinnett. The 6'2, 200-pound defenseman returns to the Gladiators in the midst of the Kelly Cup Playoffs, and has recorded 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) with Gwinnett this season.
