The Timber Rattlers took a 4-0 lead after scoring a pair of runs in the second and third innings. Beloit scored a run in the bottom of the fifth to make it a 4-1 game. Wisconsin added one run in the seventh and two in the ninth, extending their lead to 7-1. The Snappers added a run in the bottom of the ninth, making it a 7-2 final. Wisconsin out hit Beloit 12 to 10. Tarrence Patterson was three for four on the night to lead the offense.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers play game two of their three game series with their in-state rival the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Tuesday, April 11. First pitch is set for 6:30 pm at Pohlman Field.
