Beloit Sky Carp News Release

The Beloit Snappers offense erupted for 14 runs in front of their home crowd at Pohlman Field and notched another come from behind win.

Bowling Green jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning but BJ Hermsen settled down from there. Hermsen went six and the trio of Chris Armstron, Dakota Watts and Peter Kennelly held off any Hot Rods threat while the offense took care of the rest.

The first three batters in the Snappers order combined to go 9-13 with 9 RBI's. Aaron Hicks led that charge with three hits (two of which were doubles), four RBI's and three runs scored. James Beresford had yet another multi-hit game in the two hole and Angel Morales drove in three Snappers batting third. Reggie Williams and Wang Wei Lin were also big contributors tonight, Williams doubled twice and Lin had two base knocks and five runs produced.

Beloit did most of the damage in the middle innings scoring five runs in the fourth and five more in the fifth to take control of the ballgame. Beloit has now won three of four and will host the Hot Rods again tomorrow night.
