CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim recalled left wing Alexei Smirnov from the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the American Hockey League on Monday.
Smirnov, a first-round pick by Anaheim in 2000, had two goals in three games with Cincinnati this season. The 6-foot-4, 218-pounder has appeared in 13 games with Anaheim this season, recording one goal and one assist with six penalty minutes.
