Mark Coley blasted a three-run bomb in the third to extend the advantage, and Cam Barstad followed that with a homer of his own to make it 5-0.

The final Sky Carp run came in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Osiris Johnson.

After Gibson finished his dominating outing, Josh Ekness remained flawless in a Sky Carp uniform with a scoreless eighth, and Dale Stanavich pitched a perfect ninth inning with three strikeouts to close the game out in style.
