Albuquerque Isotopes News Release

Skeeters 2 (14-6), Isotopes 0 (7-14) - Constellation Field | Sugar Land, Tex.

AT THE DISH: The Isotopes were shut out for the third time this season ... Wynton Bernard, Sam Hilliard and Rio Ruiz were the only Isotopes to record hits, each contributing a single as Albuquerque did not have an extra-base hit.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Isotopes starter José Mujica (0-3, 11.15) took the loss despite a solid performance on the hill, allowing one run on three hits. The right-hander struck out one and walked on ... In a rehab assignment, Ben Bowden struck out two in his inning out of the bullpen.

TOPES TIDBITS: The Isotopes have only been caught stealing twice in 2021 ... Albuquerque was 0-for-2 with runners in scoring position and left five on base.

ON DECK: The Isotopes and Skeeters are back in action on Sunday evening at 5:05 p.m. when Dereck Rodriguez (0-0, 6.75) takes the hill for Warren Schaeffer's squad.
