Skate with the IceHogs After Sunday's Game

Rockford, Ill- The first Skate with the IceHogs will take place this Sunday after Rockford faces off against the Charlotte Checkers at 5:05 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Fans can bring their skates to the game to participate in the postgame skate. Players will be available for autographs and photos. The glass at the north end zone will be taken down for fans who would like to meet the players but do not have skates.

Sunday's game will also include a puck giveaway. The first 1,000 kids under the age of 14 to come through the doors will receive a free puck courtesy of Vienna Beef.

The game is the first ever matchup between Rockford and Charlotte. The new division rivals will square off eight times throughout the 2011-12 season.

Also, in support of Operation Christmas Child, any fan who brings a small donation on Sunday will receive a coupon for $3 off Sunday's Game. For a list of requested items, click here .
