
Griffins Host First-Ever Clash with Charlotte Saturday

Grand Rapids Griffins (5-5-0-0) vs. Charlotte Checkers
Saturday 7 p.m. Van Andel Arena
Tomorrow night, the Griffins will try for their third consecutive win when they play host to the Charlotte Checkers, in the first-ever meeting between the two teams. The first 5,000 fans will receive a Griffins team calendar, courtesy of Delta Imports.
Quick Change returns to Van Andel Arena for a second straight season. The amazing duo, featured last year on America's Got Talent, will perform during the second intermission.
Post-game activities will include a faith and family chat with Griffins players, a J&H Family Stores open skate, and a Huntington Bank autograph session with Griffins players Greg Amadio, Louis-Marc Aubry and Garnet Exelby.
