Quotes
"I didn't think we had any life after [Tyler] Maxwell got into that fight stepping in for [Jack] MacLellan. It was a cheap, dirty hit and Maxwell responded the way we'd want him to but we didn't respond quickly enough as a team after that" - Head Coach Rich Kromm on the hit Jack MacLellan took in the second and his team's response.
"It's huge. That's his linemate and his teammate. He saw the hit for what it was and the ref said he didn't see it so you can't argue with the ref if he says he didn't see it." - Coach Kromm on Tyler Maxwell sticking up for MacLellan.
"We lost little battles all over the ice and we just didn't play well for much of the second. I felt our first period was strong and our third period was strong towards the end, but the middle portion of the game we just weren't there" - Coach Kromm on his overall assessment of the team's performance.
