
Shorthanded Grizzlies Drop Second Straight In Idaho

Boise, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads defeated the shorthanded Utah Grizzlies 7-0 Saturday night at Qwest Arena.
Utah's leading scorer and assistant captain Ryan Kinasewich missed his fifth-straight game for Utah injured; along with assistant captain Brad Herauf who missed his third-straight contest.
In the first, Idaho tallied three goals, outshooting Utah 18-8.
Idaho added two more goals in each the second and third to build a 7-0 lead.
Four of Idaho's seven goals came on the power-play.
In the game, the line of Lance Galbraith (one goal, five assists) Derek Nesbitt (one goal, four assists) and Marty Flichel (three goals, three assists) combined for 17 Idaho points.
6-foot-6 defenseman Ian Forbes returned to the Utah lineup for the first time since December 15 following an injury.
Utah opens a six-game home stand Wednesday hosting Texas. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
