ROSTER UPDATE:
Scott Borders (30-day) and Kevin Asselin (3-day) were both activated from the injured list yesterday. Brett Lutes (3-day) and Alex Rogosheske (7-day) were placed on injured reserve. They join Steve Rodberg and Andrew Oke, both on the 30-day list.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Condors and RoadRunners met last night for the first time this season, with Phoenix pulling out a 3- 2 overtime win. Todd Jackson notched the game- winner with a power-play goal 3:09 into the extra session. Josh Liebenow gave the Condors a 1-0 lead with a short-handed goal 6:32 into the second, but Phoenix quickly tied it less than one minute later. Todd Griffith made it 2-1 Condors at 15:56 of the second but once again the RoadRunners responded, as Dusty Demianiuk re-tied it at 17:22.
After tonight, Bakersfield and Phoenix will meet four more times, twice at the Nest and twice at the US Airways Center. This is the ninth all-time match-up between the National Conference rivals, with the Condors holding a 6-1-1 series edge.
