Shorebirds Announce Roster Moves

RHP Miguel Chalas promoted to Frederick...RHP Matt Price promoted to Frederick...RHP Brady Wager promoted to Frederick.

LHP Ashur Tolliver added from Frederick...LHP Bennett Parry added from Aberdeen...RHP Sander Beck added from Aberdeen [25 + 3 DL]

Chalas went 1-1 with a 3.24 ERA for the Shorebirds, Price went 1-1 with a 2.70 ERA and eight saves for the Shorebirds while Wager went 2-3 with a 4.33 ERA in nine starts for the Shorebirds. All three are earning their first promotions to the Carolina League.

Tolliver, who did not pitch in 2012 due to injury, pitched for the Shorebirds in 2011. He went 1-2 with a 2.27 ERA in 24 relief appearances. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2009 First Year Player Draft.

Parry, the Orioles 40th round selection in 2011, went 0-3 with a 2.63 ERA in 11 relief appearances in Aberdeen last season. He played his college baseball at Cal State Northridge.

Beck, another Millersville, Maryland product, went 4-3 with a 2.44 ERA in 17 relief outings for Aberdeen. He was selected in the 33rd round of the 2011 draft out of the University of Maryland.
