AUGUSTA, GA - Eric Krupa, president of the South Atlantic League, announced the rosters for the 54th Annual SAL All-Star Game on Tuesday.

Leading the way for the Southern Division are the Augusta GreenJackets who are sending six players to Lakewood, N.J. Starters Chris Stratton and Martin Agosta, reliever Tyler Mizenko, third baseman Mitch Delfino, center fielder Jesus Galindo and shortstop Matt Duffy will represent the GreenJackets in the All-Star game on June 18 at FirstEnergy Park. In addition to six players, Augusta will also send hitting coach Hector Borg.

Stratton has a 6-3 record through 10 games while holding a 3.77 ERA. In his 59.2 innings, the San Francisco Giants' first round draft pick has recorded 63 strikeouts.

Agosta is leading the GreenJackets' starters with a 2.47 ERA. He has a 5-2 record through 10 games, and has fanned 71 batters in his 54.2 innings. Agosta's 71 strikeouts ranks third in the SAL.

Having a near perfect first half on the mound is closer Mizenko. He boasts a 0.73 ERA and has given up just two runs in his 24.2 innings of work. Adding to his impressive season, Mizenko is second in the SAL with 13 saves.

Delfino leads the GreenJackets with five home runs, two of which were grand slams. He also leads the team with 36 RBI in 220 at-bats.

The GreenJackets leadoff hitter, Galindo, is second on the team with a .297 batting average. But it's on the bases where Galindo really shines. He ranks third in the SAL with 29 stolen bases and has only been caught six times.

Duffy leads the team in both batting average with a .298 and walks with 33. He also is second on the team with 28 RBI and three home runs.

The Savannah Sand Gnats will send five players, the Asheville tourists are providing four players, both the Charleston RiverDogs and Rome Braves are contributing three players and the Lexington Legends and Greenville Drive will both send two players.

Savannah's manager, Luis Rojas, will manage the Southern Division and Savannah's pitching coach Frank Viola will join Rojas.

For the Northern Division, the Hickory Crawdads, West Virginia Power and Hagerstown Suns each placed six players on the roster. The Kannapolis Intimidators, Greensboro Grasshoppers and Lakewood BlueClaws contribute two players. The Delmarva Shorebirds contribute one player to the Northern Division roster.

"We have a great selection of players and a great stadium to showcase the event," Krupa said. "Each year, the expectations are raised and each year the host club meets or exceeds them. Co-owner Joe Finley, General Manager Brandon Marano and the staff in Lakewood have been working for more than a year in order to live up to that tradition and host one of the great events on our baseball calendar."

A variety of events have been scheduled in Lakewood along with the SAL All-Star Game. On Monday, June 17th, there will be an opportunity for fans to get autographs from and pictures with the SAL All-Stars at FirstEnergy Park, followed by a Celebrity Hitting Contest, featuring talent from TV, professional sports, entertainment and more. On Tuesday June 18th, the Class of 2013 SAL Hall of Fame inductees will be honored in a pre-game ceremony and the first pitch of the 2013 SAL All-Star Game is scheduled at 7:05pm.
