Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (8-13-2-1) wrap up their weekend set when they face off with the Stockton Thunder (12-8-0-2), tonight, at the Cow Palace. This is the third of 15 meetings between these squads this season. The Bulls are 1-1-0-0 in the season series with the Thunder.

Last night, San Francisco lost to the Ontario Reign, 4-1. The Bulls jumped out to an early lead with a goal in the first period from Dale Mitchell. Adrian Foster and Dean Ouellet registered assists. That would be all the offense they would get. From there, the Reign scored four unanswered goals, including three in the second period, to secure the win. Ontario out-shot San Francisco 48-31.

Mitchell had a great start to the season before missing some action with an injury. Since returning, he has picked up right where he left off. In his first four games back he has racked up five points (4g, 1a), and is riding a four-game goal streak. That is the longest active streak in the ECHL, and is tied for the fifth longest this season. He is performing at nearly a point-per-game pace, with 11 (7g, 4a) through 13 games played.

Defenseman Ryan Constant is having a fine season for Stockton. He is leading the league in assists (14) and points (18) among defensemen. Both marks are also team-highs among all skaters. In addition, he is second on the team in plus/minus rating (+7), and penalty minutes (43).

San Francisco is in sixth place in the Western Conference with 19 points. They are two points ahead of the Wranglers and Utah Grizzlies. The Thunder are in fifth place in the Western Conference with 26 points, one point behind the Alaska Aces.

Tonight, the Bulls will be celebrating their annual Teddy Bear Toss, presented by Pods. Bring your stuffed animals to throw onto the ice following San Francisco's first goal. The toys will be collected by Stewart Chrysler Dodge Ram and donated to the Marines Toys for Tots. In the concourse, Provident Credit Union will also be hosting a concourse table.

Following tonight's contest the Bulls will be off for five days, before beginning a three-game series next weekend against the Colorado Eagles. Game One is on Friday, at 7:30 pm.
