Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (24-37-1-7) play their final home game of the regular season tonight at the Cow Palace when they take on the Idaho Steelheads (44-19-1-6). This is the eighth and final matchup between these teams this season, with the Bulls trailing in the season series nine points to seven.

On Wednesday, San Francisco lost to the Steelheads 1-0 in overtime. It was a physical defensive effort from both sides, and remained scoreless after 60 minutes. One minute into overtime Idaho finally got the one goal of the game to win it. The Bulls held the edge in shots 27-26. Goalie Travis Fullerton made his Bulls and professional hockey debut, stopping 26 of 27 shots.

Kris Belan played in his first game back with the club since his return from the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL. He provided the same scrappy play Bulls fans became accustomed to earlier this season, and finished the game with three shots on goal.

It was announced on Wednesday that San Francisco had signed forward Andrew Hamburg from Colorado College. In 41 games there this season he had six goals and 12 assists. He also made his debut with the team Wednesday night against Idaho.

The Idaho Steelheads are locked into the third seed in the Western Conference. The San Francisco Bulls are locked in as the eighth seed, and will be playing the Western Conference-champion Alaska Aces in the first round of the playoffs. The series begins April 5 and 6 in Alaska, and returns to the Cow Palace on April 11, 12, and if necessary, 13.

Tonight San Francisco will be celebrating Fan Appreciation Night. There will be merchandise sales, giveaways, and season holder perks like announcing the starting lineup. In addition, the first 5,000 fans will receive a commemorative poster.

Tomorrow, March 30, the Bulls travel to Bakersfield for the final game of the regular season. The game starts at 7:00. Listen at KNBR.com and watch at AmericaOneSports.com.
