The Kalamazoo Wings and Fort Wayne Komets will begin a home-and-home series tonight at Wings Stadium. On the season, Kalamazoo is 7-6-1-0 versus Fort Wayne, including a record of 5-4-0-0 at Wings Stadium.
Tonight in the final home game of the regular season for the K-Wings. On the season, Kalamazoo is 17-15-1-2; however, they struggled lately on Vanrick Drive. The K-Wings enter tonight on a season-long four-game home winless (0-2-0-2) streak.
With a record of 32-34-1-3, the Komets come into the Wings Stadium trying to avoid their first losing season since the 1996-97 campaign when they were in the International Hockey League. To do so, Fort Wayne will need to snap a streak, as they are winless in their last four games (0-3-0-1).

Defenseman Joe Charlebois posted two goals last week to increase this season total to four goals. Prior to this week, Charlebois hadn't scored since November 2nd.
Ending a Streak
The K-Wings enter the game on a four-game home winless streak (0-2-0-2) streak. The four-game streak is the longest home winless streak for Kalamazoo this season.
