Florida used an early power play goal to take a 1-0 lead into the second period, where they then scored shorthanded to go up 2-0 heading into the third. An early goal in the final frame put Florida ahead 3-0, but Orlando C Ryan Cruthers notched his team-leading 23rd goal of the year, giving the Solar Bears life with half of the third frame remaining. Orlando pulled their goalie with just over 2:30 remaining in the game, but could not find a way to slip the puck home, falling by a 3-1 final score. Orlando is 7-6-1-0 against the Everblades this season.
