
SF Bulls Complete Three-Game Weekend Today against Ontario

Today's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (4-6-1-1) finish up their stretch of three games in three days when they take on the Ontario Reign (8-1-1-3), this afternoon, at the Cow Palace. This is the second of 10 meetings between these squads this season. The Reign won their only previous matchup, 2-0, on November 6 in Ontario.
Last night, the Bulls lost to the Idaho Steelheads, 3-1. San Francisco grabbed the early lead on a goal from Chris Crane. Damon Kipp and Brett Findlay dished out assists. From there, the Steelheads scored three unanswered goals to secure the victory. J.P. Anderson, in his first start on home ice, had 21 saves. The Bulls outshot Idaho 31-24.
With his goal last night, Crane has a three-game point streak. He has accumulated four points (2g, 2a) in that span. It was his third tally of the season, moving him into a four-way tie for the team lead. In addition, he leads the team in shots on goal with 35.
The Reign are off to a hot start this season, having lost in regulation just once. They are led by star forward Dan DaSilva, who is tied for the team lead in goals (6), and leads the team in assists (17) and plus/minus rating (+10). He is nearly on a two-point per game pace, with 23 through 13 games.
San Francisco is in sixth place in the Western Conference with ten points, four points behind the Idaho Steelheads. Ontario is tied for the stop spot in the Western Conference with the Alaska Aces with 20 points.
This afternoon is Filipino Heritage Celebration, presented by 7 Mile House Sports Bar, Grill, and Live Music. Plus, the first 1,000 kids 13 and under will receive a Disney's "Frozen" puck giveaway.
