
Several Community Appearances Close Out The Regular Season

CHARLOTTE, NC - As the regular seasons draws to a close, the Charlotte Checkers continue to make several of community appearances. Community involvement remains priority for the players, coaches and front office staff, as they gear up for the playoffs.
Here's an updated list of some of the events the players and staff have attended:
Mar. 30 - Adam Nightingale and Dusty Jamison appeared at the Special Olympics in Rock Hill, SC. Checkers players distributed awards and interacted with participants.
Apr. 14 - Chubby will appear at Pineville Community Athletic Association (PCAA) grand opening of their baseball stadium. Chubby will appear at the Healthy Hometown Festival in Rock Hill, SC.
Apr. 15 - Chubby will appear at the City of Rock Hill "Come See Me Festival".
Apr. 28 - Chubby will appear at the Myers Park United Methodist Church Children's Carnival to interact with fans and children. Chubby will appear at Presbyterian Hospital's Intensive Care Nursery Picnic.
The Charlotte Checkers play their last 2006-07 season game tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. against the Columbia Inferno.
