BINGHAMTON, NY -- Josh Hennessy and Ryan Keller each scored two goals as the Binghamton Senators scored four unanswered goals en route to a 5-2 victory over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Saturday night at Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Greg Mauldin and Jesse Joensuu scored goals for Bridgeport, which fell to 22-20-2-3 on the season.

Binghamton grabbed the early lead when Hennessy scored his 12th goal of the year at the 6:06 mark of the first period. Kaspars Daugavins brought the puck down the right side and fed a pass through the slot to Hennessy at the face-off circle. Hennessy blasted a one-timer over Scott Munroe's glove to give the Senators the lead.

Playing his first game in Binghamton since leaving the Senators organization last summer, Mauldin tied the game for the Sound Tigers with 6:28 left in the first period. Mauldin took a pass from Mark Flood and snapped a shot over Holt's shoulder and just under the cross-bar for his team leading 16th goal of the year.

Joensuu tallied his 10th goal of the season to give the Sound Tigers the lead with 4:42 left in the first period. Anton Klementyev carried the puck to the goal and sent a pass through the crease to Joensuu who quickly re-directed the puck past Holt. The assist was Klementyev's first professional point.

The fist period featured two heavyweight fights as veterans Trevor Gillies and Jeremy Yablonski squared off early in the game and Joel Rechlicz and Tim Spencer battled midway through the frame.

The Sound Tigers had an opportunity to take a two goal lead midway through the second period. However, the official waved off an apparent score by Joensuu, ruling the puck was kicked in.

Keller netted two goals in the final six minutes of the second period to lift the Senators to a 3-2 lead after two periods. Keller tied the game with 5:26 remaining in the second. With the Sound Tigers changing, Denis Hamel found Keller with a long pass. Keller had a step on his defender and put a backhander around Munroe to make it 2-2. With 45 seconds left in the period, Keller took a pass from Derek Smith and ripped a shot from the blue-line past Munroe for his 20th goal of the season.

Erik Condra gave the Senators a two goal lead 2:34 into the third period. Daugavins drove hard to the net and put a shot on net. Munroe turned it aside but a charging Condra swooped in and hammered home the rebound for his seventh goal of the season.

Hennessy scored his second goal of the night at the 5:59 mark of the third period. The forward carried the puck around the net and backhanded a shot high into the top of the net for his 13th goal of the season.

Binghamton outshot Bridgeport 38-37 in the game. Holt made 35 saves to earn the victory for the Senators while Munroe made 33 saves in the losing effort.

The Sound Tigers are back in action Tuesday night when they return home to battle the Albany River Rats. Face-off at Harbor Yard is set for 7:00 pm. For tickets, please call TicketMaster at 1-800-745-3000.
