Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI-Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Alexander Sulzer to Milwaukee. In addition, the Admirals announced today that the team has signed forward James Sixsmith to a professional try-out contract (PTO).

Recently selected to the German squad that will compete in this year's Olympics, Sulzer has a pair of goals to go along with 11 assists in 12 games for the Admirals this season. He also has two assists, his first points in the NHL, in 13 games with the Predators this year. In parts of three seasons in Milwaukee, the Kaufbeuren native has totaled 79 points (17g-62a) in 121 games.

Sixsmith is no stranger to the Admirals, having suited up for Milwaukee in each of the previous two seasons. Last year the Alexandria, VA native finished the year with three goals and six assist in 24 games with the Admirals. In 2007-08 Sixsmith had a goal and an assist in 17 games with the Ads. So far this year he has six points (2g-4a) in 21 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL) and 23 points (9g-14a) in just 14 games for the Grizzlies.

The Admirals embark on a three-game roadtrip tonight in San Antonio at 7:00 pm. Milwaukee is back at home next Thursday, January 28 at 7:00 pm versus Hamilton.
