The Sea Dogs open up a four-game series with the Trenton Thunder (Yankees affiliate) on Monday night at Arm & Hammer Park...Portland is coming off their first ever 4-game sweep in Reading, Pa.

ROADTRIP PART 2 : The Sea Dogs begin the second leg of their roadtrip on Monday night against the Trenton Thunder (Yankees affiliate) at Arm & Hammer Park...With yesterday's win, Portland completed their first ever 4-game sweep in Reading, Pa...The 'Dogs own the best winning percentage in minor league baseball at .667, and have not been 28 games over .500 since 1995 - their best record in franchise history is 82-50 during the '95 season...RHP Luis Diaz has won both Double-A starts and is 8-3, 2.98 ERA in 15 starts this season.

THEY SCORED EARLY : Portland delivered a 5-spot in the first and fourth innings, holding on for a 13-9 win over the Reading Fightin Phils on Sunday afternoon at First Energy Stadium...Matt Spring went 3-for-4 with 2 homers and 5 RBI, Sean Coyle finished a homer shy of the cycle, knocking home a season-high 5 runs...RHP Mike McCarthy (7-3) earned the win, despite allowing seven runs on six hits over 5 IP...Reading hit five homers: Kelly Dugan (2 HR, 3 RBI), Edgar Duran (solo-shot) and Jake Fox (2 HR, 5 RBI)...RHP Miguel Celestino stranded two runners in the ninth to preserve the win.
