NEWS AND NOTES

HOMESTAND FINALE ON WEDNESDAY: The Portland Sea Dogs have a shutout win in five of their last six games, including four this homestand...On Wednesday afternoon, RHP Teddy Stankiewicz seeks his seven win of the season in the series finale against the Harrisburg Senators (Nationals affiliate)...The Sea Dogs are seeking their first sweep of Harrisburg at Hadlock Field since August 15-17, 2008 (3-games)...Portland is 12-9 against the Western Division this season.

JUST ONE DID THE TRICK: Mike Shawaryn (6-7) tossed seven scoreless on five hits and Michael Chavis doubled home the lone run, as the 'Dogs beat Harrisburg, 1-0 on Tuesday night...Danny Mars set up the run in the first with a one-out double off losing pitcher Jaron Long (3-7)...Travis Lakins earned a hold, stranding two in the eighth and Trevor Kelley worked the ninth for his fifth save of the year...Jeremy Rivera went 2-for-4 with a stolen base.
