Altoona Curve News Release

AKRON, Ohio - Tuesday night's game between the Altoona Curve and the Akron RubberDucks was suspended due to a power outage at Canal Park. The game will be completed on Wednesday afternoon in Akron, followed by the day's regularly-scheduled game.

With the Curve holding an 8-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth, Akron had two runners on base and Andrew Calica at the plate when a power outage across downtown Akron knocked out the stadium's lights.

Once the first game is completed, the two teams will wrap up the series with the day's full nine-inning game. Left-hander Cam Vieaux (6-1, 2.59) will start for the Curve, opposed by Akron right-hander Triston McKenzie.

The Curve open a four-game series at home against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies on Thursday night with postgame fireworks and more. For tickets or more information, visit AltoonaCurve.com, call 877.99.CURVE or stop by the PNG Field box office.
